1. What is ASET?
ASET stands for Accelerated Skills Enhanced Training programme. It is a fast track
programme organized by Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad under the Ministry of
Human Resources.

2. Who is sponsoring the program?
The ASET programme is fully sponsored by Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad
(PSMB).

3. What is the objective of the programme?
The objective of this programme is to create more well equipped and competent
telecommunication engineers in Malaysia.

4. Who can attend the program?
i) Fresh Graduates
ii) Retrenched Workers
iii) Employed Personnel looking for advancement in their career
iv) SKM Level 2 Holders
However participants who have attended a similar programme organized by the
Government previously are exempted from attending the programme this time.

5. Who is Ulearn Technology Sdn Bhd?
Ulearn Technology Sdn Bhd is a training company catering primarily to train
telecommunications engineers. We have a vast clientele from Maxis in Malaysia to
Ericsson USA.

6. What are the courses offered under the ASET programme by Ulearn Technology Sdn Bhd?
The courses that have been approved by Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad under
the ASET programme for us are RF Optimisation and E2E Engineers.

8. Can participants select which course they want to attend?
Yes. Participants may choose which course they want to attend but it is compulsory for them to attend all the modules in the course.

9. What is given at the end of the course?
i) A Certificate of Attendance will be given to each participant who have completed
either one courses. For example RF Optimisation takes 24 days, only if the
participant attends all 24 days will they be given the certificate by Ulearn
Technology Sdn Bhd.
ii) From Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad a monthly allowance of RM500 (for full
time courses) and RM200 (for part time courses) will be given to the students.

10. Is the programme available to the public or will participants come from a particular group or corporation?
Yes. it is available to the public.
